I clean, lubricate with the appropriate oil and/or grease for your specific sewing machine, and adjust your machine as appropriate, ensuring smooth operation for all your sewing or quilting projects.
Whether your machine is an inherited machine, a new to you vintage machine or an off-the-shelf machine, they all need to be maintained to ensure smooth sewing and to extend their sewing life.
In our dry climate the lubrication in sewing machines can evaporate more quickly. In older machines, the old lubricant can get gummed up or even harden over they years, especially if they haven't been serviced in a while or have not been stored in a temperature controlled area.
When a part needs replacing on your vintage machine, I will find high-quality components. Whether your beloved Featherweight bed extension has gotten a bit floppy, or your sewing machine need a new bobbin case or a new motor belt.
I offer services for minor repairs to ensure your sewing machine functions perfectly with available genuine or compatible parts.
At this time I am not doing any repair or replacement of computer boards, electric parts, electrical wiring, motor repairs, screen issues computerized buttons not working or computerized machines that need calibration or adjustment to settings.
I do not work on any machine under warranty, since I am an independent technician, not associated with any brand.
